「題名の無い物語」高木雄也

Yuya’s song ‘The Story with out a Name” is a happy love song with some sad undertones. It’s all about a dream he has where he’s happy with the person he loves but he can’t see their face and he’s still waiting for the day that they’ll meet in real life. The last three lines of the song are so lovely yet sad. Yuya is such a sweet heart. As far as the story being told in the solos, Yuya’s is my absolute favourite.

We go on a date and fall asleep together we’re overflowing with happiness but

Your face is blurred and it’s the only thing I can’t see

When I wake up I reach out searching for you but all I find is air

I’ve faced these confusing mornings time and time again

You who I can only see in my dreams, Your voice and your warmth

Even though they’re so clear to me why aren’t you here too?

Maybe you’re just Deja-Vu but even then I love you

Because these thoughts I can’t erase keep me alive

Even if this endless dream is just toying with me

I don’t care, I believe it anyway, I want to see you

As evening seems to fall alone I mutter your name but

I haven’t seen your dream lately

I search all over town until I can hardly breathe but

I can’t even find your shadow

I wonder if perhaps you’re looking for me too

Even this faint dream seems like it will disappear in the darkness of time

Maybe you’re just Deja-Vu but even then I love you

Because these thoughts I can’t erase keep me alive

Even if this endless dream is just toying with me

I don’t care I believe it anyway I want to see you

I will find you some day

And when I hold you I will never let you go, I swear

Maybe you’re just Deja-Vu but even then I love you

Because these thoughts I can’t erase keep me alive

Even if this endless dream is just toying with me

I don’t care I believe it anyway I want to meet you

Wait for me, I’m coming now, Goodnight
