The other day, my first year of school in New York came to a close.
I learnt all kinds of different things.
I think I have had an extremely valuable time.
… A year ago, to be honest, I was extremely lost wondering whether or not this was the right choice for what I wanted to achieve in life.
To separate myself from the beloved fans, from Hey! Say! JUMP, from my family and friends, and everyone who has supported me, and to go to New York in America where the culture is completely different to study…
Maybe my full power won’t be enough to apply, maybe I’ll end up losing the place I’m standing in now, is this too selfish, will I be able to grow enough in these two years to satisfy everyone’s choice, I can’t forget…
All kinds of different things floated through my mind but,
I believe in myself. I will never give up. This path that I’m walking is not mistake.
Impossible is I’m possible.
There is nothing I can’t do, no-one can tell you what is possible in your life.
As a result of living by these words, there are still many things that I’m not good at but, in my own life, this decision was not a mistake. I think I was able to complete a first year that made me feel like I was really glad to have made this decision.
I appreciate all the hands and opportunity that were offered to me by the faculty staff of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and whom supported me.
I believe that I will see everyone again…
I think that I want to keep doing my best from now on.
I said this before but, my first year of school has finished, and now the long summer holiday has started!!
While I do this update I am in…
I am in Japan!
It’s just for a little while but, I’ve packed my bags, and come back to see my family.
And, after this…
I’m going to an acting school in London, England to learn about Shakespeare in a summer program.
It will be the first time in over ten years that I’ll be going back to England!
I am extremely honoured and excited about this!!
I took the audition in New York to participate in the summer program but, going to study in the home of Shakespeare who I have loved since I was a kid… I’m extremely excited.
Before I go there is a lot of reading that I have to do, and a lot of things I have to prepare but, even that is fun!
After this program finishes, I’ll go back to New York.
From New York to Japan. From Japan to England. And then from England to New York.
I think that seems how I’ll be spending my summer holidays.
I said this before but…
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again.
I miss you all…
It’s a photo of when I played the role of a character called Pony in a play called Suburbia at school 🎸
