アキヅキ (Usually written as 秋月 and pronounced shuugetsu) literally means “Autumn Moon” or what is often called the “Harvest Moon” in English. This is such a lovely song about an Autumn love that has changed with the seasons. I’m sad it didn’t make it into the concert. I feel like it really suits Goseki’s voice and for some reason it’s the song on the album that I associate with him the most.
This is such a beautiful song about overcoming sadness and learning to have the courage to change your life and smile again.
This song is such a banger. I love it!!!
This is such a beautiful song about not being able to let go of a broken love. The actual musical track for this song is so gorgeous too; it’s another one of my faves off this album ♡
「Daybreak Gunslinger」is one of my favourite songs off the new album 🤠 It’s a passionate song about keeping strong to your heart and beliefs as you try and achieve your goal, never wavering like the aim of the cowboys gun.
(Claire has a soft spot for passionate songs with creative imagery, can you tell?)
New song from the new album~♫ This song is so 😳 I love it! Ebi can take me down any day!
This song is so catchy! I hope that a star falls for you tonight!
「いいね！」(iine) means “That looks great!” and is what Japanese people often say when checking photos they’ve just taken 📸
Hanakotoba, “The language of flowers”, is another one of my all time favourite Ebi songs. It tells such a sweet and innocent love story and I personally find the concept of hanakotoba and giving 100 roses to express your love really romantic 💐 The mini drama PV that they made to go with the song breaks my heart. Make sure to check it out! I helped make English subs for the PV with my friend N and you can find them on her LJ here → 🌸 Continue reading “A.B.C-Z Hanakotoba Lyric Translation”
“The Bodyguard that Fell in Love” is my all time favourite Ebi song. The lyrics tell such a beautiful and sad story. I wish Ebi would have made a short film adaption of this like they did for Hanakotoba.
